12 Days of Christmas Movies, Day 12: Die Hard

Day 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas Movies that have fun special fx. Todays pick is Die Hard (1988)

The quintessential Christmas feel good film. Who wouldn’t love a shirtless Bruce Willis running around going Yippie-Kai-Yay on the bad guys. This Holiday favorite has spawned three more Die Hard films. AND a Die Hard 5 – A Good Day to Die Hard is scheduled for release in 2013, which is rumored to have Patrick Stewart play a Russian General.

I am always interested in who did the makeup & special fx makeup on movies, so I thought others might be too. Here is a list, from IMDB, of makeup/special fx artist whose work made Die Hard so darn fun to watch. Merry Christmas and Yippie-Kai-Yay Mutha F***a!

Synopsis: New York cop John McClane gives terrorists a dose of their own medicine as they hold hostages in an LA office building.
