Make Up For Ever HD Blush: Application tip - Cut the blush with moisturizer and apply with a sponge.
So much for blogging from the movie set last week. But now I have some time off and I am getting back on the blogging horse. Those 12 to 14 hour days were brutal, but I made it through. One of the things that helped was Make Up For Ever HD Blush in #4 (Walk of Shame – bubblegum pink) & #12 (First Kiss – bright apricot).
I was working with makeup artist Ashley Hooker on the set of Orbs, a ghost hunting feature film directed by JJ Rodgers. Two of the ghost hunters were hot girls (of course) and the HD cream blush gave the actresses an effortless, rosy glow.
Tips for application
Mix the Make Up For Ever HD Blush with a little moisturizer, apply with a sponge and it will blend beautifully. You can use this cream blush straight, but cutting it makes the application faster and more even. It is a good idea to set the blush with a translucent powder, or powder blush (if you want to change the color a bit). The Make Up For Ever HD Blush gives such a soft natural glow and looks gorgeous on film. Unfortunately the only picture I have from set (see below) doesn’t do the look justice, but you get the idea.
Make Up For Ever HD Blush is a definite must-have for any set bag.
You can find Make Up For Ever HD Blush at
Sephora, Ulta or here in Los Angeles I prefer to go to Naime’s Beauty Center or Nigel’s Beauty Emporium.
